Exclusive Destination
Not everywhere. Just where it matters most.
We focus exclusively on Barcelona and its surroundings. Not ten cities. Not a rotation roster of destinations. Just one incredible city -and we know it inside out.
Our local expertise ensures authentic immersion, trusted partners, and unforgettable memories.

Why VIVID SPANISH?
NOT YOUR TYPICAL SUMMER PROGRAM
We're not a mass-market operation.
We don't do educational tourism at scale.
VIVID SPANISH is a boutique program -small groups, hand-selected host families, and experiences tailored to each cohort.
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Student's stay in one of Barcelona's safest, most desirable residential towns -just 10 minutes from the city. All the excitement of Barcelona with the peace and authenticity of real Spanish life.

WHAT MAKES VIVID SPANISH DIFFERENT
We know your child's name. We know their story. And that changes everything.
In a world of mass summer camps and educational tourism packages, Vivid Spanish is something else entirely: a small-group, educator-led program where your teenager is known as an individual — their interests, their expectations, their worries about traveling abroad for the first time.
Because for most of our students, this is their first time abroad. And we take that seriously.
Here's what that means in practice:
True small groups. Every student is seen, known, and valued. No one gets lost in the crowd.
24/7 support from an experienced education team. We're not just chaperones. We're educators who understand adolescents — their need for both security and supervised independence. Our team is present, attentive, and reachable at all times, and in daily contact with host families.
Real immersion, not a simulation. Living with a local family, eating Spanish food, navigating daily life in a residential neighborhood — this is how language and culture actually stick.
A location that is 100% local. Sant Just Desvern isn't a tourist hub. It's a real community, and that authenticity is one of our greatest assets.
Expert educators, not just coordinators. We bring deep expertise in education and adolescent development to everything we design — the curriculum, the schedule, the family placement, the activities.
The result? Students come home not just speaking more Spanish — they come home more confident, more open to the world, and more themselves.

Who we are
VIVID SPANISH is led by expert educators and continuous improvement specialists who create authentic language immersion experiences in Barcelona. We're not a faceless corporation -we're a small, dedicated team who genuinely care about every student who joins us.
Together we combine educational excellence with cultural adventure to offer programs where students don't just learn Spanish -they live it, explore Spanish culture and enjoy a transformative summer in a safe, stimulating, and deeply personal environment.
Paula Perez | Co-Founder & Academic Director
Paula is the heart of Vivid Spanish — and the reason the program is designed the way it is. With a background in education and a deep belief that language learning only sticks when it's lived, not memorized, she has built an immersive curriculum that meets teenagers where they are and takes them somewhere new.
She personally oversees the academic program, the educator team, the host family selection process, and the day-to-day student experience. She knows every student by name before they arrive — their interests, their worries, what excites them — because for her, this is personal.

Andres Moreno | Co-Founder & Continuous Improvement
Andrés brings 15+ years of experience in organizational leadership, international environments, and program design across Europe and Asia. His role is to make sure the program runs with the kind of structure and precision that gives families peace of mind — clear communication, airtight logistics, and a team that knows what to do in any situation.
He's also a dad. And that changes how you think about everything.

IS THIS THE RIGHT PROGRAM FOR YOUR TEEN?
Vivid Spanish isn't for everyone — and that's by design. We keep our groups small and our standards high, because the experience only works when the fit is right.
This program is a great match if your teenager is:
-
Between 14 and 18 years old and ready for a structured, meaningful summer experience
-
Curious about the world — or ready to become more so
-
A beginner or intermediate Spanish learner who wants to make real, lasting progress
-
Traveling internationally for the first time and needs a program that takes that seriously — with 24/7 support, real educators, and a team that communicates with you throughout
-
Interested in more than just language — in culture, history, connection, and the kind of growth that only happens when you step outside your comfort zone
-
Ready to live with a local family, share meals, and experience daily life in a way no hotel or dormitory could offer
-
You might be the right parent for Vivid Spanish if:
-
You want your teen to have a formative experience — not just a fun trip
-
You value small groups, personal attention, and educator-led programming over large-scale camps
-
You want to be kept informed throughout, with daily updates and direct access to our team
-
You believe that confidence, independence, and a global mindset are worth investing in
Still not sure? That's exactly what our free call is for. Let's talk through it together.
